The 2007 conference was successfully planned, organized, and executed solely by students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong's MBA Program. It was the first time such an event had been student-led and was attended by more than 200 people.
Last year's theme was "Matters of the Heart, or the Bottom-Line" and CUHK was honored to have speakers from several widely-respected firms and organizations to share with us their insights on numerous topics such as CSR in Supply Chain Management, CSR and the Environment and Information and the Stakeholders. The audience was also given the opportunity to be involved in discussions during panel workshops.
The conference was made possible through generous sponsorships from various corporations located in Hong Kong. We would like to take this chance to congratulate the CSR team last year on the successful conference and we are grateful for the assistance from sponsoring organizations, media partners and individuals in making the conference a reality.
This year, we will be asking for your continuous support and hope that the next conference we will be a vehicle through which we will be able to greatly expand community awareness of the topics selected.
